Arab efforts have been recently directed towards investing in computerized linguistic corpus for developing software and lexicons that serve educational purposes.

the Arabic language has entered into this field, albeit in a modest manner, for several reasons, on top of which is its specificity that sets it apart from other languages.

corpus linguistics (les corpus linguistiques) - which we will adopt in this research-also known to some as language corpus, and to others as linguistic texts, are various namings given in their entirety to an “irregular block of texts that can be dealt with automatically by addition, deletion or modification”.

this research presents some applications that can be utilized in the field of education, especially in relation to the preparation of language tests in the primary educational stage, in light of a computerized Arabic linguistic corpus.

it further aims to expand future studies in this broad field to introduce the Arabic language into the world of digitization and informatics.
