Abstract EN

Towards strengthening the role of the civil society in the Algerian one, in order to contribute effectively to the management of the public affairs among the public enterprises; the constitutional amendment of 2020 introduced a national observatory of the civil society, which represents a forum for consultations, conversations, and proposals in order to involve various social actors in the development, the operationalization, the execution, and the assessment of the public policies.

however, the functioning of the civil society observatory depends on the notification of the both heads of the executive power, represented by the president of the republic, and the first minister or the prime minister-depending on the situation-and the observatory can also exercise its advisory role by itself, in the legally defined areas, which gives it more dynamism development and promotion performance of the civil society.
