Abstract EN

The current study aimed to determine the level of psychological hardiness among cancer patients, as well as to examinate the different levels in psychological hardiness based on the variables of educational level and gender.

the sample of our study consisted of 109 cancer patients (male / female) at Youssef Damerji hospital in the state of Tiaret.

to achieve the goals of our study, we used the descriptive method, as comparative study based on the psychological hardiness scale of-Mohamed Mkhaimer-sdandarazied by Bachir Maamria according to the Algerian environment.

the results revealed a high level of psychological hardiness in the overall score, and also in the values of its three dimensions (commitment, control, challenge) that they were evaluated among the study sample.

and it is also showed that there were differences between the groups in the level of psychological hardiness according to the variable of educational level and gender.
