Based on descriptive and analytical methodologies, the purpose of this paper is to highlight the active role of the tourism sector in activating economic diversification as a strategic option for improving the economy, because tourism is the third sector after agriculture and industry as a rapid source of foreign exchange with tourism revenues.

the study discovered that tourism sector expansion, particularly in developing nations, contributes to economic diversification by raising countries' GDP, total domestic and government expenditure, investment spending, and so on.

as a result, the researchers recommended advocated for tourist investments to be encouraged and pushed as a necessity for economic diversification and move from one sector's dependence.
