Abstract EN

This study aims to attempt to analyze the motivations and performance of Algeria's foreign policy towards the Republic of Egypt in a period where the Arab region is witnessing numerous security threats that pose a threat to their national security, in particularly Algeria, which led it to adopt a dynamic and proactive foreign policy by refocusing its diplomatic activity with the neighboring countries and by orienting itself more towards the Arab depth to build closer relations with its units, including the Republic of Egypt.

Algeria recognizes the regional power of this country and refuses to exclude it from consultations on security issues of the Arab, which has given new impetus to bilateral relations between the two country in all political, security and economic areas.

the security reality also demands that Algeria and Egypt, as two influential regional powers, redouble their efforts to overcome any disagreement that arises between them on any issue in the region and to employ all their diplomatic energies for consultation and coordination in this area and to avoid any bloc that excludes one of the parties.
