Al-Raqqa city is one of the Arab cities that gained a great status, as poets came to it and lived there and said their poems and poems there in a period of time, and there is no doubt that the environment in which the poet lives, and the circumstances surrounding him have an impact that appears clearly in his poems.

The history of poetry has preserved a group of poems in which the effect of Al-Raqqa was clear, which necessitates taking note of that effect through the analytical investigative method that depends on tracking the phenomenon and investigating its manifestations in its various aspects.

The expressions and representations expressed by the poets in their verses, and the research dealt with a group of poets who said their poetry in the city (Raqqa) during the Abbasid state through samples of their poems that they expressed, whether in description or other poetic purposes so that the researcher can clarify the manifestations of that influence It is clear in examples of their poems.
