Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the information-seeking behaviors of students in light of the COVID pandemic and the role of libraries in enhancing these behaviors.

the libraries act as intermediaries between researchers and the digital environment, providing training programs for documentary research and offering quality services such as website directories and digital reference services.

to achieve this goal, a field study was conducted on a random sample of 120 students from the humanities department at Mohamed Kheidar university in Biskra.

the study employed a descriptive approach, with a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool.

one of the key findings of the study is that the COVID pandemic has impacted the information-seeking behaviors of students, and the evaluation of the contributions of the central library of Mohamed Kheidar university in Biskra to enhancing the effectiveness of information search during the COVID-19 pandemic was rated low.
