Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight the economic and social importance of marine fishing as a strategic sector, presenting basic features of its reform efforts in Algeria, and then attempting to evaluate and reveal the extent to which there are significant development impacts in favor of improving its performance indicators during a 20-year period extending from 2002 to 2021, using the quantitative approach in estimating the general time trend equation, for the study variables.

according to two linear and exponential formulas, the results of the study resulted in some significant development effects and others that were low in the time course of the development of the study variable.
