Nonetheless, scholars and observers with a focus on Arab societies underscore its robust social impact and efficacy in molding collective identity across diverse circumstances.

This phenomenon is often ascribed to the inherent characteristics of these recently formed patriarchal social structures.

In this context, this research paper aims to comprehend the relationship between religious practices and familial dynamics within Algerian society.

We employed a qualitative methodology, emphasizing understanding, interpretation, and explanation, utilizing observation and interviews for data collection.

Within this framework, we identified two patterns of religious practice in the examined domains: one characterized by a profound association with the family across multiple dimensions, and the other marked by a manifestation of independence from familial ties.
