Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the role of masjid speech, which is based on raising the awareness of the dangers of drugs, in order to answer the questions of the problematic issue, the survey method was used because it is the appropriate one for such studies.

the content analysis method was used as a methodological tool to collect data that included the content categories: what was said? and the categories of form, how was it said? the results confirmed the clear position of masjid speech represented in Friday sermons, which affirm the prohibition of drugs, due to the harm they affect both the individual and society.

the study also confirmed the masjid speech’s demand for all concerned groups to do their duty to fight the scourge of drugs, based on the approved persuasive methods, which would convince the recipient of its danger.

this confirms the extent to which masjid speech is aware of the existence of a serious problem in societal reality related to the scourge of drugs, which requires finding all possible solutions to reduce it.
