This theoretical study explored the risks of psychological burnout among teachers by addressing the concept of psychological burnout for teachers as à major professional risk.

this study also came to shed light on the causes leading to the phenomenon, which are the conditions related to students, the school environment, school administration, the nature of the profession, and the personality of the teacher.

with work on explaining the occurrence of psychological burnout through different stages, and addressing the Chirnes model (1985) and the importance of this model in explaining psychological burnout among teachers.

in addition, the current study indicated the importance of proactive strategies in enhancing the teacher's mental health and reducing his incidence of psychological burnout.
