This study is based on the concept of the textual record as a background interface for the poetic discourse that works in interaction with the mental structure of the reader, which leads to the reproduction of the discourse according to the efficiency of the self-readier and its cultural heritage.

in this context, the study, in its practical aspect, is focusing on using the historical and mythological contexts in the pre-Islamic poetic discourse, and their impact on establishing the desired link between the discourse and the recipient.
