This article addresses the issue of organic unity in modern Arabic poetry, specifically in the poetic doctrines of renewal critics, particularly among the surrealists and romantic critics, considering romanticism as the first defined literary trend that emphasized the necessity of achieving organic unity and objectivity in literary work and poetic creativity in particular.

the subsequent critics viewed the verse as individual, disregarding the integration of poem parts.

consequently, organic unity in traditional poetry was achieved within individual verses or within a segment of a single poem, making it closer to disintegration.

thus, Arabic romanticism advocated for writing poetry with integrated parts, where each part serves as a living organ in the artistic structure.
