This study examines the importance of physicians as a human resource in maintaining health systems and the health of individuals and communities alike, and the impact of their emigration on global health security by examining the losses incurred by health systems.

if any country's health system is in danger, this necessarily means that health security is under threat from various diseases and epidemics and directly affects the country's ability to confront health challenges.

in the first section, we shed light on the concept of health security, then the international emigration of health professionals in the context of brain drain was discussed, and in the last element we linked the impact of the emigration on global health security.

the results emphasize the urgent necessity of cooperation efforts between countries to address the problem of the shortage of physicians resulting from emigration.

policy makers must also have the necessary data in order to gain more understanding about the extent of this phenomenon, and thus know its current effects and impact on health systems in receiving and donor countries.
