Abstract EN

Based on the enormous spread of modern information and communication technology with its various applications and means, our study aimed primarily to reveal the extent to which modern information and communication technology contributes to the promotion of foreign values, and the relationship of all of this to efforts to change the authentic value patterns of Algerian society, and the extent to which young people are influenced by it and represent what it promotes.

the study used the descriptive analytical approach, which helped us determine the relationship between the variables of the study by using the interview tool as the main tool.

a purposive sample was also chosen, which included a group of Algerian students, where interviews were conducted with 30 of the most prominent students.

using modern information and communication technology, influenced by foreign cultures, especially western ones, the study concluded that modern information and communication technology has a role in bringing about a change in the value system in Algerian society, as this communication technology contributes to the sagging of the system of authentic values of society, which enables it to form the ability to adopt foreign values in Algerian society.
