Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the reality of the social entity of the new urban residential community Harathen neighborhood in Jijel state.

the researcher used the descriptive analytical method and the questionnaire tool to collect data from the respondents, whose number was estimated at 90 citizens living in the Harathen neighborhood.

the study concluded that the urban and physical surroundings of the new urban residential community, Harathen neighborhood, is characterized by a set of characteristics, and the nature of the cultural and social privacy of the residents of the new urban residential community, Harathen neighborhood, in the state of Jijel, is different according to their first place of residence, the period of their move to live in the neighborhood, and their social status.

the results of the current study also showed that the neighborly relations in the new urban residential community, Harathen neighborhood, are characterized by a set of characteristics that emerge mainly in reducing the concept of the neighbor and avoiding contact with other residents of the building or the neighborhood in order to avoid problems and maintaining a superficial neighborly relationship between the residents of the neighborhood in order to avoid problems, and maintaining relationships good with the neighbors.
