The study aims to introduce the concept of insulation for buildings, the basic types of insulation, materials and techniques used in insulation, and what is the role of insulation in maintaining the safety and durability of the building and protecting it from external influences such as heat, water, moisture and noise, and protecting it from cracks and collapse, and how insulation helps reduce maintenance costs and costs of heating, cooling and the cost of electrical energy as well, identifying the current damages to non-insulated buildings, and the role of insulation in improving the quality of life in the building and increasing the satisfaction and comfort of users.
