This study aims to reveal the extent of the contribution of the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic to the growth of the phenomenon of private lessons, and this is by choosing two educational institutions: primary and intermediate from the state of Blida as a model.

using the interview technique with some parents of students who enrolled their children in private lessons, and adopting the analytical descriptive approach in analyzing its results.

the study concluded that the social and psychological repercussions of the pandemic as well as the health protocol contribute to the students’ interest in private lessons.
