Abstract EN

The mining and quarrying sector represented by stone and brick sawing factories is a vital industrial sector in Jordan, due to rapid economic growth, urbanization and forced migration.

However, spreading bricks and stones led to environmental deterioration as a result of the emission of large quantities of gaseous and particulate pollutants, in addition to visual pollution from the random distribution of these factories.

Hence the importance of this research in studying the issue of rehabilitation of quarries and brick factories in Jordan.
