Abstract EN

This article seeks to acquaint with different works carried out by the researcher Ammar Hamdach in successive stages, starting in the mid-eighties of the twentieth century within the framework of his sociological investigations of some rural issues in morocco, mainly the issues of collective lands.

the works that follow the developments of the tribal lands owned or tenured collectively since the colonial administration took over these tribal/collective lands file.

this was done through the famous legal mechanism known as the Dahir (a Moroccan king's decree) of April 27, 1919, and which resulted social, political, economic, and cultural interactions.

this widely impacted its implementation in the valleys and the concerned rural areas.

the researcher worked to observe and read some of its aspects, not only in its socio-legal dimension (his socio-legal approach to the collective land system), but also in its economic and social dimension through the multiple contributions which he made in this respect regarding the bottlenecks of transformation within their conditions, and the ensuing tensions and protests that included the internal components within ethnic collectivities (between generations on the one hand and between men and women on the other).

furthermore, it included a number of external components related to the management of collective lands affairs (ministry of interior affairs, private investors ...).
