This article seeks to highligh the role of translation in culutural interaction.

it is a problematic that I tried, by going into it, to raise an important aspect that can be reduced to the following: how does translation become a means to establish dialogue between cultures? in what way does translation play its full role to create a balanced interculturalism based on mutual enrichment and not on cancellation and differentiation? what areas interculturalism does translation span? how does translation become a tool for opening up to the other based on belief in pluralism and difference? what is the way to preserve cultural identity while at the same time being open to and interacting with different cultures?
