This research endeavors to identify some explanatory approaches to digital technology in the field of international relations.

how does each approach address the issue of digital technology as technological innovations affecting and being affected by international politics? the research highlights that there are two main points of view: the deterministic perspective and the indeterministic perspective.

moreover, within these two perspectives, there are diverging opinions between optimists and pessimists about technology, realists, liberals, constructivists, and critics.

these different perspectives highlight the diverse ways in which digital technology is understood in the context of international relations.
