Abstract EN

This research aims to study the objectives of the Qur’anic texts that are definitive, proven, and the possible significance of more than one meaning and obligatory meaning, and to explain their relationship to the general objectives of Sharia law and the objectives of the Qur’an.

As these words were used in the Holy Qur’an in two ways, according to the places in which they were mentioned.

Sometimes the sentences have many possible meanings, or they can only bear one meaning or ruling.

I followed the descriptive methodology in that I traced these definitive and possible texts related to family rulings and studied their general and partial purposes.

The study focuses on some texts with definitive proof that can be interpreted in more than one possible obligatory way, explaining the types of legal purposes, and the effect of this division on the five general necessities, clarifying the impact of definitive texts on confirmation and potential meanings in the general and partial objectives of legal costs.

It became clear to me that the objectives of these texts were divided into general objectives and partial objectives, and among the most prominent of their general objectives were: warding off evil, bringing about benefits, and preserving the five main necessities, which are preserving oneself and money.

As for the partial objectives, the most prominent were: comprehending the time and limitation of the action, facilitating to remove harm, or the purpose of limiting financial transactions between spouses, etc., the researcher recommended completing this study and generalizing it to various specific purposes, such as worship, transactions, morals, governance, judiciary, etc., and studying the relationship between the general purposes of the Qur’an and the specific purposes which have definite and indefinite legal understandings, and apply their rulings on the five necessities, and legal purposes.
