Abstract EN

The main purpose of this paper is to shed some light on elegies mourning brother in pre-Islamic poetry.

The pre-Islamic poet tries to unify the oneness of a triangle poetic image through his deep penetration into himself, the image of a la- mented brother, and the concept of death from beginning to end.

This paper also tries to explain the sociological and psychological usage of the image in pre-Islamic poetry.
