Abstract EN

Abu AL- Ala' AL- Ma'arri represents the situation of the educated man and his attitudes as a model in the Abbaside age.

However he had definite ideational attitudes towards the main issues that aggravated the emotions of the educated man everywhere.

These issues were artistically obvious in AL- Ma'ari's poetry since it was chatacterized by intellectual deepness and comprehensive view to the man and his questions and existence and its issues .

Hence, the research discusses, poetically, AL- Ma'arri's attitudes towards morals , material , authority and the educated people .

Moreover, it touches upon metaphysical issues with which Al- Ma'arri was concemed.
