Abstract EN

The researcher aims to evaluate cataloging and classification process, and get the most possible benefit of this process ; by developing a linear programming model.

The model was implemented on Baghdad University Central Library; some of the recommendations were that: time should be better invested; computer should be used in cataloguing process, and cataloguing unit should be supported by specialists in this field.
