Abstract EN

This paper deals with the effects that result from reliance upon the written language which is considered as a base for investigating and studying in the traditional studies.

The paper began the study by shedding light upon the main differences between the two languages showing that the written language doesn't represent the spoken one truly and faithfuly, hence all the results and decisions that may be obtained by reliance upon the written language are false, and do not represent the linguistic reality, so much so that it must be rejected.

The paper presents samples of these false decisions from the different linguistic levels; the phonological, the morphological and the syntactical, demanding that the study must depend upon the spoken language only, so as to be a scientific and in accordance with the linguistic reality.
