آيات بينات في بيت الله الحرام : في ضوء قوله تعالى : (إنَّ أوَّلَ بَيت وُضعَ للنَّاس لَلَّذي ببَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وهدى للعالمين)‎

Abstract EN

The Sacred House of Allah was the first house assigned for worshiping Allah on earth.

Divine Providence guided Abraham (Peace be upon him) to raise the foundations of the House and carry out some renovations.

This House is blessed with much glory.

It is a source of guidance for people; hearts are inclined towards it and people come to visit it from all parts of the world (through deep and distant mountain highways).

It is sacred (revered) until the Day of Judgment since Allah the Almighty created the heavens and earth.

Fighting is not allowed in its precincts, its trees should not be uprooted, its quarries should not be disturbed, and whoever enters it shall feel safe (attain security).

It is distinguished by the fact that it is the oldest building of Allah on earth.

Nonetheless it has been preserved and whoever takes shelter in it will find safety and peace.

Other signs include : the Station of Abraham ; the Black Stone and ; it is said that whichever corner of the House receives rain, fertility (superabundance) will become common to all the land that lies next to that corner.

There are further signs of its sacredness such as Safa and Marwa, the Zamzam Well (the birds never fly over it), the disappearance of stones despite the large number of people who have thrown these stones since the days of Abraham until this day, the fast punishment of whoever has evil intent towards it such as the Companions of the Elephant, and finally punishing whoever commits a wrongdoing in it, especially when wrongdoing is premeditated.
