Abstract EN

This study investigates the concept of 'place' in relation to other components in the novel, Bukaa al-Aziz.

For this purpose, the researcher has divided this study into for main parts: 1) place thresholds; 2) the Palestinian Village as a narrative place; 3) place and characters; and 4) place and events.

The study also includes an introduction in which the researcher explains the importance of place in the novel in general, in the Palestinian novel, and in the novel, Bukaa al-Aziz, in particular.

Moreover, the researcher explains the driving forces behind his choice of this novel for research purposes.

The researcher concludes with a number of findings that were a result of this study.
