Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to reach to the deep structure for the narrative text .It has applied on a short story for Gasan Kanafani ;"If I were a horse.

The research starts studying the fable .it was of Three little stories .

then it transferred to analyze the sujet ,to break the linearity of time in the first and second stories and restore the linearity in the third one.

.concentrating on the function of repetition in breaking this linearity .Then it tasked its other functions : the first of them was to Find point of view.

It reached to opposite collocation between two fixed points of view because of them the narrative hero’s point of view has been developing : The first one was Abu Mohammed's point of view which represented spiritual attitude viz the doctor's material point of view, It stated the domination of the first point of view and diminishing of the second one which was a seniological sign for the domination of spiritual reasoning in the epistemological structure for Arab and diminishing of material reasoning .

This led to transformation of the hero's point of view like his father before.

Transforming from refuse of spiritual reasoning to believing in them .

The research found that the narrative structure of the text opens windows on three historical textual’interactive settings : the Buraq revolution 1929- 1930, the Mohammedan revolution in the beginning of his message and the separation movement in 1961 .It uncovered how they were working in the text and out of it.

The most important images which it revealed the intertextual images between the Buraq and the horse ;• the hero of the first little story and the intertextuality between the messenger of God's mole and the mole of the hero of the little second story.

Besides the research regarded the double attendance for legend and ideology ; as it was mentioned in three previous researches for the author in which he has manipulating this object.

He reached to that they were being operated definitely in this subject ; for the author has ideoligized the legend and legendized the ideology.
