Abstract EN

This paper is entitled (the reasons behind using, computer in education and its impact on educational achievement).

The study aims at the following: 1.

To identify the educational fields in which the computer is used.

2.

To make use of pervious studies in the same field.

3.

To reach some recommendations that help to use effectively in both teaching and learning.

4.

To deal with the problem the researcher uses the descriptive analytical method that in composes collecting data analyzing gathering tools used is manly references, books, and previous studies.

*the study comes out with the following findings: 1.

Computer assists the teaching processes because it has the ability to store, analyze, and process the data.

2.

Computer is not only a teaching aid but it could be used in both traditional and individual teaching and learning.

3.

Computer has disadvantages when used as a single teaching aid.

4.

Previous studies in the field show that the computer can enhance studies achievement.

* On the light of the above findings, the study recommended the following:- 1.

Teaching and learning scholars’ have to make use of computer and use it effectively..

2.

There must be some teaching material s designed via computer.

3.

Educational designee should be taken PTO as base when producing educational material.
