Abstract EN

This study aims at analyzing the degree of the representation of the various powers in the Algerian parliament with its two chambers (NPA, NA), then it shows the different roles and functions (Political, legislative and control) that the parliament plays in the multi-partisan system.

The position of parliament developed due to the reforms of the 1989’s institution, so that the political representation becomes more various, the opposition succeeded to transfer the political and partisan conflicts to the parliament and performing the role of controlling the executive power.

However, this latter is still dominating over the legislative one .This point was the main result of the study.
