Abstract EN

This research studies the parliamentary process and its application in the Federal National Council in the United Arab Emirates.

It analyzes the concept of the parliament and its importance in disclosing violations and following up on the implementation of the laws, conditions for accepting the parliamentary process, and measures for putting it forward.

It further considers acceptance of the parliamentary process, responding or abstaining on the part of particular ministers and what that might indicate, and obstacles in determining the effectiveness of the parliament as a means of control.
