أختبرت المستخلصات الكحولية لنباتات الشيح Artemisia herba alba والبابونج Matricharia chamomella والزنزلخت Melia azedarach وذلك تحت الظروف المعلمية لدراسة (التأثير) النشاط المانع لوضع البيض والطارد من اللدغ ضد التطور البالغ لإناث بعوض Culex quinequefasciatus حيث استخدمت التركيزات التالية: A.herba alba (80,1,90,0, 45,0, 22,0, 11,0 ملجم/لتر); M.chamomilla (50,0, 25,0, 12,0, 06,0, 003, 0ملجم/لتر) M.azedarach (03,1, 51,0, 25,0 ,12,1, 06,0ملجم/لتر) لدراسة النشاط المانع لوضع البيض، و أتضح عدم إمكانية الإناث من وضع البيض بنسبة 100% عند المعمالة بمستخلص نبات الشيح في جميع التركيزات و 57,80% وو ضع بيض فقط عند معاملة السطح بأقل تركيز من مستخلص M.chamomilla (03,0 1/mg) في حين كانت 36,65% عند أقل تركيز من M.azedarach حيث لم تضع بيض إطلاقا عند جميع التركيزات الأعلى في الإختبارات الطاردة من اللدغ استخدمت التركيزات ملج/لتر80,1و ملجم/لتر 50 ,0و ملجم/لتر و ملجم/لتر 30,1 من كل المستخلصات النباتية A.herba alba و M.chamomilla و M.azedarach على التوالي، فأعطت المعاملة حماية من اللدغ لمدة 72 ساعة مقارنة بالتجربة الضابطة؛ إذ وضع البيض بعد 24 ساعة.
إن كلا من النشاط المانع لوضع البيض والطارد من اللدغ يعتمدان على مقدار التركيز المستخدم من المستخلص النباتي.
وتقترح الدراسة بفعالية مستخلص نبات الشيح كمانع قوي وطارد لوضع البيض يليه الزنزلخت والبابونج ضد إناث بعوضة Cx.quinquefasciatus.
Abstract EN
The ethanolic extracts of Artemisia herba alba, Matricharia chamomella and Melia azedarach were tested under laboratory conditions for oviposition deterrent and skin repellent activities against the adult mosquito Culex quinquefasciatus.
Concentrations of A.herba alba (1.80, 0.90, 0.45, 0.22,0.11 mg/l), M.chamomilla (0.50, 0.25, 0.12, 0.06, 0.03 mg/l) and M.
azedarach (1.03, 0.51, 0.25, 0.12, 0.06 mg/l).Treated with A.herba alba prevent eggs Laying 100% and 85.75% , 65.36% when treated with M.chamomilla and M.azedarach (eggs only laying at minimum concentration).In skin repellent tests, concentrations of A.herba alba ; M.chamomilla and M.azedarach were 1.807;0.505 and 1.035mg/l respectively, provided 72 hours protection against mosquito bites, whereas the control one provided only 24 hours of protection.
Both oviposition deterrent and skin repellent activity were concentration dependent.
The results suggest that the ethanol extracts of A.
herba alba, M.
chamomella and M.
azedarach is an effective oviposition deterrent and skin repellent against Cx.quinquefasciatus.
