Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the average of Babel date-palm growers adaptation of the technical and agricultural mechanisms and expertnesses recommended by the agricultural extension.

Besides, it deals with the important factors associated with the adaptation operation.

It also provides a test that enables the agricultural extension staff to know more about the encouraging and discouraging elements in this regard.

Moreover, this study makes it possible to be in contact with the growers who conducted more adaptation, to have their help in various instructional programs and activities.

This, in return, will lead to activate the agricultural instructional policies related to date-palm farming and production.

To fulfill this aim, five case studies (out of 14- agricultural divisions) have been randomly chosen, namely: Al-kifil, Al-neel, Jurf al-Sakhar, al-Saddah and al Shomali.

The case study includes (361) growers representing (8%) of the total five divisions mentioned above.

The data collected via interviews based on questionnaire forms.

The study arrives at many important conclusions of which agricultural extension staff can make full use in carrying out the instructional programs concerned.
