Abstract EN

The research is an attempt to analyze a poetic image of Bashar bin Birds'.

This image is regarded a type of poetic imagination in which Bashar excelled and created what is called “Imaginary Simile”.

Moreover, a connection is made between the complex of the poet's blindness and this imagination.

His blindness is a stimulus to the poetic creative images through which Bashar is considered a reviver of the Abbasid poetry.

The research also includes a statistical study; the figures of this type are found out so that the results are more close to objectivity.
