هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد إمراضات الأمومة في فترة النفاس و لمدة 42 يوما و أسبابها و مشعراتها بتبني طريقة الدراسة التتبعية.
تم تتبع 943 امرأة في فترة النفاس و لمدة 42 يوم في مستشفى الخنساء و مستشفى البتول للولادة.
تم مقابلة كل امرأة حامل و التي تقع ضمن جمهرة الدراسة و التي أتت إلى موقع الدراسة للولادة.
و قد تم جمع المعلومات بواسطة استبيان خاص صمم لهذا الغرض.
بينت النتائج أن 67.1 % من السيدات كن يشكين من مرض واحد أو أكثر في وقت الدخول إلى المستشفى للولادة و خلال تتبع أولئك السيدات و مقابلتهن و فحصهن في اليوم السابع من فترة النفاس ارتفعت هذه النسبة لكي تصبح 78.2 %.
أما في نهاية هذه الفترة (اليوم 42) فقد حصل انخفاض في هذه النسبة لتصل إلى 71.7 %.
تأثرت إمراضات الأمومة تأثرا معنويا بالمشعرات التالية : عمر الأم (p ≤ 0.035) و مهنة الأب (p ≤ 0.05) و الفترة بين الحمل الحالي و الذي قبله (p ≤ 0.05) و الشخص المشرف على عملية الولادة (p ≤ 0.01).
قامت هذه الدراسة بتسليط الضوء على إمراضات الأمومة خلال فترة النفاس في مدينة الموصل و حددت أسبابها و مشعراتها.
Abstract EN
The aim of the present study is to depict a baseline data and estimates of maternal morbidity that affect women during perperium, its causes and predictors, by use cohort study design The participants were Nine hundred and forty three pregnant women (n = 943) admitted to Al- Khansaa and Al–Batool maternity hospitals.
Cases were those pregnant women who attended the mentioned maternity hospitals for delivery.
They were chosen on consecutive basis.
The data collection tool was a questionnaire prepared for this purpose.
All included women were interviewed and examined at the time of admission and on the 7th and 42nd day's post–delivery.
At the time of admission 67.1% of the study sample had one disease or more.
Follow–up of Thestudy women 7 days after delivery showed that 78.2% had one or more maternal morbidity.
While in the second visit (i.e., 42nd day postpartum) 71.7% had single or multiple morbidity.
Maternal morbidity was significantly affected by maternal age (p < 0.035), partner’s occupation (p < 0.05), birth interval (p < 0.05) and birth attendants (p < 0.01).
The present study indicates the causes and predictors of postpartum maternal morbidity in Mosul where almost all of them are preventable.
