Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the effects of dissimilation between vowels and I semivowels in the Arabic word from different linguistics aspects.

The researcher has tracked the concept of dissimilation in the old and modem linguists, its purpose, its judgment and the disagreement in terms that demonstrating it.

The researcher also tackles the effects of dissimilation in other linguistics issues and some Quranic reciting' variations.

The researcher has shown what has been said in regard the dissimilation issues such as the) issue of the noon of dual, the noon of the sound mRsculine plural, the noon of the five verbs, the noon of the heavy emphasis, the taa of the sound feminine plural in the subjunctive mood, some morphological forms and some Quranic reciting.

The researcher concluded tint the dissimilation has clear and undeniable effect that can not be ignored or disregarded m any morphological or phonetical study tackling such issues.
