Abstract EN

This research takes up the study of the frequent rhythm Phenomenon in the poetry of His Majesty Late King Abdullah the I3’ , relying on statistic methodology in an attempt to reveal the extent to which the repetitions of utterances and phrases in the poetic texts show up as well as forms of repetitions in order to find out the relationship between rhythm in these forms and their effect on meaning.

This research has come to the conclusion that repetition { utterances and phrases ) is remarkably abundant in the poet’s texts whereby the poet has achieved two objectives : the first is technical where this repetition has achieved a melodious rhythm inside the text, and the second is semantic where the poet has made this technical method closely related to meaning which is a style that provokes semantic aims and enhances them.
