Abstract AR

This research discusses the way nations in general glorify their monarchs and leaders.
As for the Arabs, the Arabs, monarchy and leadership is not only legally but also divinely inherited.
The leaders used to have divine privilege.
Leaders have unlimited power that to make them different from other people.
Mythology held that leaders were glorified by performing certain ritual.
Among these rituals was a taboo prohibiting people to violate.
There is also the legend of the rain maker which is performed by seeking rain fall through the monarchs or leaders.
There legend of recovery from an illness by touching a noble body or blood of a monarch or a leader, as they are connected with god - like moon (wadd) which looked like a bull and was also worshipped by all the Arabs before Islam.
Another legend is that of glorifying the dead of a monarch or leader and their graves, They used to consult the dead and sought their opinion of about their own worldly affairs.
These ritual and legends appeared very clearly in all the per- Islamic poems and they were all narrated in all of the per-Islamic poems and well - researched and analyzed in many Arabic like any books,
