Abstract EN

This study analytically explores the verse-finally sounds of Amma Part, the last Part of the Qur’an, which includes nearly one third of the total number of the Chapters (Suras) of the Qur’an.

The verses of this Part are short and fast, and their final sounds have a strong relationship with the meaning of the verse, the Chapter, and the general topics of the Part.

This analytical study gives statistics of the sounds in this Part, classifying these sounds in terms of place and manner of articulation and showing how these sounds are related to the meanings of the verses and Chapters.
