Abstract EN

The research reviewed the opinions of poetry concerning immortality and mortality this problem that exhausted man and occupied his mind during the ancient ages which preceded the coming of Islam which never found a convincing answer since the philosophies and religions of that time lacked the fact that death is mortality but Islam gave a convincing answer to this problem.

Through its view to life that.

The worldly life has an extension in the afterlife and that humans do not end after death and that death is the end of the body and the spirit is immortal in heaven or hell.This is confirmed through many verses holy Quran.

The topic of this research is Al- sharif Al- Redhy who was one of the poets who tackled this concept in his poetry which confirmed this philosophy because Al- Redhy was a ffected by Islamic philosophy as well as other opinions of Al- Redhy about earthly life and time , richness and poverty , woman , old age , youth and love .
