Abstract EN

The research has diagnosis of a phenomenon that has not familiar in educational and psychological literatures-informed of the researcher–it is (intelligence anxiety) which is disordering of the intelligents in their mental energies with confuse their thinking.

The aims of this research are following:- 1) construct of the scale of intelligence anxiety.

2) identify the level of the intelligence anxiety of Gifted school students in the center of governorate of Nineveh.

3) identify the significance difference in the mean on a scale of intelligence anxiety between students grades (I and II) of Gifted school.

For the purpose of achieving of those aims the research has been applied to constructing of the intelligence anxiety scale on total sample (142) students were selected from (26) secondary schools during the academic year (2008-2009) are selecting as suitable of the conditions of a select criterion of gifted school students, these are due to a lack of objective measures in the constructing to measure school gifted students because they are limited to a total of (19) students only.

The procedure of scale construction are identify their fields and items, Then verified its validity with reliability through a series of species to of (68) items.

Then applied to the gifted school students, Results showed that students have mean in the intelligence anxiety less of hypothesis mean of the scale in significant difference as well as there are no significant difference between the grades of students (I and II).

Then research found a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions of research subject.
