The study aimed at udentifying the attitudes of made/ female students at the open university of Sudan to words the open university education in Sudan and evaluating the experrience of the open university of Sudan also the study attempts of find out to what extend the programme and educational technology at the open university they are updated.

The sample of the study included made /female students from the open university of Sudan- the total number of them was (“U) students.

The researcher used the descriptive method in caring out the study- the tool of the study was the measurement of attitudes after being subjected of some modifications.

The researcher preferred to divide his work into different coves.

Anumber of statistical and the phrases.

Bairson half-split equation was used to find out the coe effient.

Spirman and Brown predictive equation was used to find out validity of the coe effient - This is besides the percentage and T test and the difference test.

The researcher arrived at a number of results, the most important were: -the open university provides proper qualificatuion for the studens enabling them to play their assigned roles in the societyduring the course of the study they acquire scientific thinking and they feel more real ked and confident.

-the open university promotes the society there for the students attitudes are positive towards the experience of the open education.

The attitudes of the students towards the curriculum are also remarkably positive-this is due to the clarity of the content which conform to the aims, some modules are set to ptomote positive personality^ traits.

The attitudes of the students towards the teaching staff are also positive-this is beacause of the mutual reapect and understanding between the members of the teaching staff and the open university students-also the opne university has competent and modest teaching staff well-versed in the various teaching methods.

The attitudes of the students are also positive towards the teaching tesying and measurement methods because they are interesting and modern.

The researcher concluded with a number of recommendations- the most important are:- -the urgent need for the expansion of the open education.

-proper proofreading of the printed materials should be done.

-there are need for opening new specialties.

-promothing the university environment.
