يعد موضوع طبقات المجتمع الآشوري في ضوء المصادر المسمارية، أحد المواضيع المهمة التي عنيت بدراسة التاريخ الاجتماعي للآشوريين، بالاعتماد على النصوص المسمارية الخاصة بالموضوع حيث أنها المصدر الأساس لدراسة العلاقات الاجتماعية في أي عصر من العصور مع عدم التقليل من الآثار المادية في معرفة و دراسة الجانب الاجتماعي إلا أنها لا تمدنا بمعلومات كافية عن واقع المجتمع في تلك الحقبة الزمنية، لذا استمد البحث معظم فقراته إن لم نقل اغلبها من النصوص القانونية و خاصة القوانين الخاصة بالفترة الآشورية الوسيطة بالإضافة إلى الوثائق اليومية من عقود اجتماعية و اقتصادية و بعض الكتابات الملكية الخاصة بطبيعة الحياة الاجتماعية التي كانت سائدة في بلاد أشور .
Abstract EN
The present research sheds light into one aspect of the Assyrian society i.e.
the Assyrian social classes which are considered to be one of the basic sources to study the social relationships in any of the ancient times including the Assyrian ones .
Practically, it is almost impossible to study the traditions ,customs and legalities which determine the individual conduct of any community without consulting the relevant literature of that aspect and underestimating no substantial traces in studying the social aspect of life.
