تجربة فريدة من نوعها خطتها سوريا لإعادة إحياء و تأهيل نهرٍ مهم من أنهارها التي جفت مياهه منذ أربعينات القرن الماضي، بسبب سياسة تركيا الهادفة إلى الاستفادة من جميع مواردها المائية المتاحة لديها، دون مراعاةٍ للحقوق التي نصت عليها الاتفاقيات و المعاهدات التي عقدتها مع جارتيها العراق و سوريا.
لذلك اعتزمت الحكومة السورية على تنفيذ مشروعٍ كبير يهدف إلى إنقاذ أحد الأنهار التي انقطعت مياهه عنها، و إعادة الحياة إليه من جديد و لكن بحلةٍ أخرى تختلف عما كان عليه في الماضي، حيث بنيت على ضفافه أماكن سياحية ترفيهية، و أقيمت كذلك منشات صناعية و صحية في منطقته أي (منطقة المشروع)، و تم هذا كله عن طريق الاستعانة بالكوادر الوطنية السورية فقط.
و بعد هذا النجاح الكبير قررت سوريا تعميم هذه التجربة على بعض الأنهار الجارية في البلاد و خاصةً في العاصمة دمشق و بعض المدن الأخرى مثل مدينة حمص و غيرها من أجل الاستفادة من الموارد المائية بشكل صحيح يلائم الأغراض الزراعية و البيئية و الصحية.
Abstract EN
Syria has made a unique experience in reviving and rehabilitation of an important river that dried since 1940 's.
Because of Turkish Policy which aimed at using all its available water resources without taking into consideration the agreements that have been made with Iraq and Syria.
So, Syrian government decided to implement a great project to rescue a run out river and giving it life in another different manner , and constructed Luxurious and tourist places and also established health and industrial installations in the region of the project , all of that was by Syrian cadres.
After that , Syria decided to circulate this experience on all rivers in Syria especially in Demascus and other cities such as Homs city to make use of water resources in a proper way for environmental and agricultural purposes.
