Abstract EN

In other study cellulose- producing bacteria were isolated from gastrointestinal tract of common carp Cyrrinus carpio and grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idella, which were hunted from water in Basrah city.

This bacteria was kept and purified in media till it was identify.

In this study the isolated bacteria were tested as morphological and physiological characteristic and circulans.

biochemical test were took it.

The characters of isolated bacteria were, aerobic, gram positive, motile, spores forming.

Finally, this isolated bacteria was related to the genus Bacillus and species Bacillus circulans.While, some isolated bacteria was anaerobic, gram positive, spores forming were related to the genus Clostridium.
