تم خلال المدة ما بين شهر تشرين الثاني 2008 و لغاية شهر شباط 2009 التحري عن نوعية البكتريا و الطفيليات (الاوالي الطفيلية و الديدان ) و نسب انتشارها في الزوائد الدودية المستأصلة من المرضى الراقدين في مستشفى الحسين التعليمي في مركز قضاء الناصرية في محافظة ذي قار.
تضمنت الدراسة 68 مريض من كلا الجنسين ( 30 من الذكور و 38 من الإناث ).
بلغت نسبة الإصابة الكلية بالطفيليات % 39.7 و كان طفيلي Entamoeba histolytica أعلى نسبة إصابة 27.9 % أما الإصابة البكتيرية الكلية فقد بلغت 73.5 % و أن أعلى نسبة إصابة سجلت لبكتريا Escherichia coli 34 % .
Abstract EN
During the period from November / 2008 to February / 2009 to explore the prevalence of infection of parasites (Protozoa and Helminthes) and bacterial infection causing acute appendicitis surgically removed from inpatients of Al-Hussin hospital in Nassriyia city in Thi- Qar province .
The study include 68 patients with acute appendicitis of both sexes (30 male and 38 female) .
The total prevalence of parasitic infection was 39.7 % .
The highest percentage of parasitic infection 27.9% was with Entamoeba histolytica and the highest percentage of bacterial infection was 34% with Escherichia coli .
