دراسة مقارنة لعمليات التعلم في التربية الرياضية عند طلبة الدرجات العلمية المختلفة

Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to determine whether differences in learning styles existed among physical education students from different academic degrees (Doctorate, Master and Bachelor).

The researcher used Schmeck, Ribich, and Ramanaiah's (1977) Inventory of Learning Processes (ILP), a learning style inventory that assess how students classify, analyze, process, retain, and retrieve information at university level.

The ILP consists of four independent scales: Deep processing, Elaborative Processing, Fact Retention, and Methodical Study.

The number of participants in this study was 101 students (20 doctorate students, 20 master students, and 61 bachelor students).

The findings of this study showed that there were no significant differences among the students in the three academic groups on Deep Processing, Elaborative Processing, and Fact Retention scales.

However, significant differences were found only in the Methodical Study scale, as where the master students scored higher than the bachelor students.
