This research shows the reaction of the Leftist, Liberal, and Islamic tendencies in Egypt, during the first half of the twentieth century, towards the issue of the Egyptian woman; and what is related to the matters of veil (Hejab), unveiling (Sofour), woman's education* her labor, her political rights, and her civil and social aspects that are related to marriage, divorce, heritage and (Kbol1) in return for a monetary compensation to be paid by the wife to the husband.
